KKK flyers distributed around Covington, KY

Featured Replies

There are leaders in many groups who say hateful and nasty things that are not necessarily representative of how the entire group feels.

President Trump is a Republican and has said some very distasteful things about how to treat women and where to grab them. Am I to understand that that kind of behavior is espoused by the entire Republican party just because a Republican leader said so?

No, that's different.

Many years ago I knew a few people who were members of the KKK. Truly an ignorant, low-class group of people.

To bring Black Lives Matter or Donald Trump into this thread will quickly agitate the usual suspects and derail another opportunity to learn from one another. Can we not discuss the flyers and KKK and avoid the same ole same ole?

BLM has a few bad apples that who have damaged the reputation for those who are fighting a noble fight. The KKK is a whole orchard of bad apples who are fighting for a horrific cause driven by hate, fear, and ignorance. To even compare the two groups is a complete and utter injustice to BLM.

It is almost unbelievable that the KKK still exists. Guess there is no shortage of ignorant red necks.

38% (give or take a point or two) of my town are probably still Klan members.

You're a better man than me.

Are you serious? If 4 out of 10 people walking through your community are in the KKK, that would be far and away the most racist community ever built. Unless you are living in some kind of paradoxical 1963 universe. Forgive me I can't help but think you are being a bit hyperbolic, times 10.

These type of flyers were being distributed in WKY not long ago. They had a phone number to call for more information. Apparently it directed everyone to some phone number out in California.

I told that kid not to drop them in the Pealsburg neighborhood. Kids these days, cant tell them anything.
