I stand by my halftime assessment - if Karnowski could have found the touch then Gonzaga would be burying them. He has missed so many shots that he normally hits. Keeps making the right moves and then blowing the finish. No one is shooting well, but his is almost inexplicable.

I stated that in the early 90's I played Church league with the polish center , I stand by my comment .

Gonzaga 11-19; North Carolina 11-17. Also they have called 36 fouls with still 10 minutes to play.

Regardless of what happens the rest of the way, this is the worst title game I can ever recall.

 

The flagrant 1 rule is going to get changed next year. After this game and the U Conn women's game. That rule is just bad.

I can't agree with that call. He was grabbing for the ball.

Well so much for Karnowski getting away with it.

 

I call baloney on that actually being flagrant. They looked at it, said oh no we missed that, and made it up immediately.
