Worst 10th Region Tournament ever??

Featured Replies

Your judgements are a bit premature. For the most part, the games have been competitive up until the end. The scores just haven't reflected that. I think the Campbell/Bracken game could easily get out of hand, but I expect the Scott/Paris game to be a good one. Both teams play really fast, Scott can score, and Paris can defend. I'm excited to see that one.

They're not the ones who voted for the draw.

Then let's seed the districts and region and see how happy polar bear nation is. Give them a 6 seed and let them play Scott.

Another point I'd like to make, I feel as if you eliminate the district runner ups from the regional tournament you'll improve the post season as a whole. For the most part the regional tournament would be more competitive and the district championship games would mean more.

Hasn't there only been one round so far - 4 games? There is still great potential for two or three really good games that can go either way. If you look at the scores, the 9th region appears to be the same - the teams that were expected to win have had small leads at half that they extended into larger victories.

I will say that Louisville and Lexington appear to have had some good Regional matchups and terrific games.

Are you always this negative?

I'd take that draw all day.

Only lost to Scott by 7 at Taylor Mill and was right there til the end

Lost to them at Brooksville last year by 2 in a shoot out

I would take that draw or Campbell County(who they have already beaten) over Paris or Clark County(who they don't match up well against)

Possible 2013 10th region tourney. Moco beat Nicholas County by 42, Bishop Brossart by 16 and Scott by 31.

This is probably the best regional tournament because my Polar Bears are still alive. For a neutral observer it's probably bad. But for fans of Bracken, Campbell, Scott, Paris are loving it

There are glass half full guys.

There are glass half empty guys.

And there are glass cracked and leaking guys.

The only regional tournament I can think of that was more boring thus far is 2008 when Mason County blitzed everyone. I expect this one to get more interesting assuming it's a Campbell/Paris or Campbell/Scott final.

The Campbell/Scott final may not draw as big of a crowd as any of the other possible combinations of Championship games, but it would be a great game.

Random but postseason games I've been to the past two weeks and plan on going to

2 of the 4 remaining teams were runners up. This argument is invalid to me.

Not to mention, you delete the runners up, and you have less $$$ coming in at region time.

Finally someone with comparisons to my question, which was what I was looking for.

There are an actual (very) few on here that will post an answer to a question
