Are you still crying about the officiating? Sheesh. Give it a rest. They lost the game. Move on.

No. I was being sarcastic about those who are whining.

Campbell +10

Yep. On any team in the 10th.

I assume those who think he couldn't haven't seen him perform on his AAU teams with some really nice talent around him.

As a Polar Bear fan, I have been searching for stats to shed a little light on Monday's rematch. Granted the Bears won that early season upset in the Igloo and that gives us some glimmer of hope; but, bragging about that one may downplay the real task at hand. Let the stats speak:

1). Scoring efficiency - Camels a whopping 1.13 to 0.94 advantage.

2). Scoring differential - Camels outscored their opps by 18ppg; Bracken 0.9 ppg.

3). Schedule strength - unquestionably Camels by a great margin

4). Record - Camels 29-4 (13-1 against only top-mid regional caliber) vs Bracken 17-

14 (12-8 against all tier regional teams).

5). Shooting accuracy - Camels by a large margin in all categories. FG - 49.8% vs.

42.9%; 3FG - 37.3% vs 28.6%; FT - 79.0% vs 62.5%.

6). Points allowed - Camels allow only 52 per game; 13 less than Bracken.

Those season long stats paint a pretty compelling picture that Camels are heavy favorites without even factoring in the importance of Regional quarter finals that Russel and the Camels are pretty familiar with, plus the revenge factor of the early season upset. The one critical stat that gives hope is Bracken avgs 36 rebounds per game while CC avgs 28. This is the one outstanding stat that should be caveated with BC provides a lot more reb opps from their own miss shots. This is where the Polar Bear's "bigs" have to shine on Monday. Bracken cannot outscore Camels in a high scorer; but, by controlling the tempo, unusually solid D, and pounding the boards....an upset is possible. Going to take a monumental effort.

Maybe the Bears can call a defensive expert in for an emergency coaching clinic on Sunday, perhaps Code from Brossart ?

p.s. Great research Oldercoach

This

If so it will be because of Bracken County and the casual fan, maybe fans of Paris from Bourbon County, can't see a whole lot coming from Campbell or Scott

Disagree. This sets up as a nice two game package with a lot of unanswered questions. The folks up north tend to have to be shown that the Paris Greyhounds can beat the Scott Eagles and will want to see that one for themselves. There is a lot of Campbell-Bracken hype as well.

The only deterrent to a long line of traffic traveling down the AA Highway from the 37th District is that the 9th Region championship between CovCath and Cooper may entice a few to stay local and witness the battle of the Goliaths. Personally, I will be at the Fieldhouse.

Last time these two met Bracken opened the night on a 10-0 run and was in control the entire game. They also ended the half on a 12-2 run.

Bracken County led at the end of the 1st quarter by 6, at the half by 8, end of the 3rd by 9, and won the game by 6.

This time will be twice as tough, no doubt about that. I mean they are losing the poll 8-63.

Didn't know there was so much dislike between fan bases...getting there early to get a seat for Paris/Scott...in the meantime I would be shocked if Bracken can pull off the enormous upset...but I've seen it time and time again...#ParisPride

Sometimes it is good to be a team with talent and yet still be so overwhelming an underdog. Sure hope Camels think it's going to be that easy. Polar Bears having nothing to lose, so I am sure every player leaves it all on the floor.

Lots and lots of pressure on the Camels, none on BC
