Science Friction
Never liked the guy. He is just mad Trump made Jeb look like the fool he is. He has every reason to feel like that. If someone had disrespected my family like Trump has disrespected the Bush family, I would be pissed too. I never thought I would long for the days of GWB.... Trump is not the stable, dignified leader that Bush was. I wasn't always on the side of W's politics but he is a much, much better man than this Trump fella. Science Friction
I could seriously hang out with George W. and BHO all weekend long, maybe shoot some hoops, catch a few bass, and throw back a cold one or two. Seem like two cool cats. The Trump dude would be the opposite. I would want no part of hanging with him.

newarkcatholicfan
Bush was by far the worse president in a long, long time, but it still says a lot when someone like him speaks out for or against another from his own party.

ggclfan
I don't blame Bush for not liking Trump. It is easy to forget that when the R primaries started, Jeb was supposed to win the nomination. He had the establishment and big money behind him. It took Trump about 10 minutes to not only beat him but to embarrass him. He also said negative things about GW as well. So I get that all the Bush family hates Trump. What I don't get is that Obama spent 8 years blaming Bush for EVERYTHING. And Bush almost never said a word. Now he feels the need to criticize someone from his own party? I don't like it but it does confirm what I already knew. Being part of the Washington establishment is more important than your party. Bush, McCain, and Graham definitely would rather have HRC as president than Trump. I am not sure about Mitch and Ryan but I suspect they would rather have HRC as well. newarkcatholicfan
I have toned it down. Just seems to me some of you can only see things one way and many seem to have forgotten all of the post like this on the president who just left office. Republicans seem to give it but cant take it. Corrected.
Mitch Rapp
I don't blame Bush for not liking Trump. It is easy to forget that when the R primaries started, Jeb was supposed to win the nomination. Bush, McCain, and Graham definitely would rather have HRC as president than Trump. I am not sure about Mitch and Ryan but I suspect they would rather have HRC as well. When the Bush and Clinton families began hanging out with each other, I lost what little respect I had for them. Trump said some really stupid things during the primaries and essentially placed blame on George W. Bush for the 9/11 attacks, but siding with the liberal hacks attempting to delegitimize Trump's presidency after keeping his mouth shut for 8 years as Obama delivered his hate-filled assault on American traditions and laws, is inexcusable. Great presidents like Ronald Reagan are too few and too far between. Another few Bushes, Clintons, or Obamas, and this country, as we know it, will no longer exist. I hope that Trump continues to rise to meet the challenge, but with Congress full of RINOs and socialists, I am not very optimistic.
