I wonder if Mustang has thought about taking the boat and broadcasting the state fishing tournament live?

Maybe it's just me or my friends but some of my friends .... Well, one particular guy who announces at Simon Kenton football games ... Who can still, after 36 years, quote Hardy and Dale from those broadcasts .....

If you don't know who @Mustang is just look around for him at a Brossart game. Either wearing a green Brossart windbreaker or a green Brossart polo. This man is the heart and soul of Brossart athletics, he does it all!

"Circle it and put a star by it"

I still see Hardy at the State Tournament every year. When we were all broadcasting, he and Dale frequently sat near us on press row. Being from the other end of the state, we never heard them on-the-air, but enjoyed their company at the Sweet 16. Good guys. Is Dale still living?

He was also recently honored with a "lifetime achievement award" (sorry Mustang, I couldn't recall exactly) from a local grade school that feeds BBHS for the work he has done there for his entire life.

 

Mustang is a guy who has dedicated his entire life to the betterment of youth sports. The number of kids he has coached and / or mentored, the monies he has raised, the support and encouragement and the love he shows for his people is hard to describe.

 

They broke the mold with this guy....

Greatness comes via their willingness to sacrifice their time, money and loss of family time. I have listened to most and appreciate all of them. Hope they continue their passion to share their unique ability. If anyone thinks it's easy sit down and try it at home. These are skillful guys who prepare for their commentary. Bravo to all and keep up the great service. I sure do appreciate it as many others do too

He is, but has not been in the best health.
