May 18, 20179 yr If they wanted to make it interesting, they would alternate rounds. The first round would be boxing...second round MMA...third round boxing...etc...
May 18, 20179 yr Cody Garbrandt would have a better shot in a boxing match with Mayweather than McGregor and Cody doesn't have a chance at all. So... a lot of people will waste their money to watch this.
May 18, 20179 yr If Mayweather wants to be the man, he needs to fight the winner of the GGG/Alvarez fight.

May 18, 20179 yr As a 2 decade UFC fan boxing bores the crapola out of me . I dont know a person that likes boxing anymore , and the past few UFC cards have been junk.

May 18, 20179 yr I love boxing. I used to be a big boxing fan...grew up watching it with my dad. Kept up with it even though it had grown boring just to talk to my dad about it, because he truly loved watching and talking boxing. Hadn't watched a fight in years, but watched Kkitchko's last fight a couple weeks ago, and it was a tremendously fun fight to watch...best one I've seen in years.
May 19, 20179 yr This is stupid and I'll still watch but some of the best boxers in the world couldn't beat Mayweather...so why would a UFC fighter be able to do anything in a boxing match against him? I don't think even McGregor truly thinks he will win, unless he can get lucky and get that one big punch in on Floyd. However Floyd never lets people truly get a good hit on him. Its very simple they are both great fighters/boxers etc. However they are both even better businessman. McGregor knows he will make more money in this one fight win or lose against Floyd, than he will his whole UFC career. Its a win/win for him. He loses, and he can use the boxing excuse for the reason he lost and he walks way with 75 million dollars still. He basically sets his family up for life, with just one boxing match. Floyd now doesn't need the money, however he is all about the big pay day. He knows the only way to get over 100 million for a fight again is to do a match like this. No one else in boxing would get people's attention. McGregor is a huge draw though, and gives him a chance to get to 50 and 0, while getting one last huge pay day. So its basically a win/win for Floyd too, because he is going to get that 50 and 0 record, get paid, and most likely a guaranteed win against someone who is not a boxer. Two men making a great business decision. Shoot they probably have called each other up many times during this laughing about how they are about to get paid, and how they can put on a show leading up to the fight to get even more paying watching.
