Good Luck BC, you'll need it. Coach will have you guys rolling in a few seasons, if he's not back at Ashland.

I would like to wish Coach Evans and the Lions luck in their District opener. Lee Evans is a class act and I have a tremendous amount of faith that he will have the Lions back on the proul soon.

Going to miss Boyd in District play next year,

Yoter

JC 62

BC 6

Looks like another long season in Cannonsburg.

I hear from some parents that the natives are already restless.

Can anyone comment on this?

This is nothing any different from any other season these parents complain every year.Boyd County has got more Wanna-Be coaches in the stands.

Let the coaches do there job. This team is young and will be alot better next year.

This one is going to get ugly in a hurry. Boyd's only win this year has come against a pitful Bracken Co. team, ever since the offense has seemed to struggle to get anything going and teams are scoring rather easily on the defense. Expect Grimm, Johnson, Welch, and Dillon to run all over this defense and put this game away before halftime. The Varsity Defense of JC should once again pitch a shut out but with the JV playing most of the second half BC should muster up 7. Expect the JV and freshman to get a lot of PT this week for the second week in a roll. My prediction:

JC: 56

BC: 7

First of all BC has won two games,Yea your right Should be a easy win for your Eagles, but I dont think you will be as full of yourself next year when you come to BC.And I know your not going to talk smack when when the Tomcats come to town.

Don't be so sure of yourself.

What are you talking about. Johnson Central in Boyd Co. will not be in the same district next year so JC would have to add Boyd Co. as a non district opponent next year to play them which i dont think that we will see. But if they were to play again next year and the results have been the same as this season i would say the same thing. I think that JC laid a pretty good whipping on BC last year at BC and in my opinion is what took the air of out BC sails after a strong start.:thumb:

I will not talk smack when Ashland comes to town, Ashland is going to be a tough opponent, probably the toughest remaining on the regular season schedule for JC, that will give JC a game. I will not to smack and im not talking smack about BC just calling it as I see it.

We will never be "full of ourselves" when we play anybody. Do you remember what happened last year when we come to Boyd? If both teams play each other next year why wouldn't we be confident in coming to Cannonsburg next year? They will prepare the same way next year as they did last season and as they are for this weeks game.

Maybe you can practice what you preach when baseball season comes around.

It feels so good to be back...

Johnson Central - 56

Boyd County - 0

JC wins another game with their "ground n' pound" offense. I want to see another blocked punt from JC.

Johnson Central's defense along with coach Reeves will shut Boyd County out. JC hasnt had a shut-out all season. And in all honesty, if JC's starting D had been left in the whole time in all five games, they would have 5 shut-outs. This is the best defensive unit to ever wear the black and gold.

The Natives that are restless, will be restless no matter if Lou Holtz was coaching. They have some reality issues that just cant be resolved. Unfortunately the natives that are mostly adding fuel to the fire are still going to be around a couple more years.

With all that said, there still are a good group of parents that support the program, but a few bad apples too.:D

Good Luck to the Lions!

Well, since we are going back in time to discuss the present! And you are wanting to bring memory up..............

Do you remember what happened the game before the 2005 game??????

Boyd won 30-0 over JC. Hmmmm, that seems to be 10 more pts then you beat us by in 05. Wow, wierd how the past can get ya.....

But with all that said....I like JC and feel like they have one of the hottest programs going right now...They get good numbers out and Matney is doing a superb job.

Good luck to Boyd in this one, but thru all the struggling this year, I still support the Boys!:thumb:

Why is it the baseball team is so successful year in and year out and the football team stuggles to even compete, with a good season having around a 500% season.
