I think if it happens next year, I'm just going to call it rigged.

 

It's not rigged. As was stated if it was rigged they would be on opposite sides of the bracket scheduled to meet at 2:00pm on a Sunday in March.

:lol2: If it was rigged, I'd imagine the KHSAA would want the 11th and 12th representatives to go as deep as possible to boost the gate, not eliminate one in the first round.

 

I'm not even sure it's mathematically possible for it to happen 3 out of 4 years :lol2:

I think 1/4 will be the last game on Wednesday and wouldn't be surprised if 14/15 is at night also so they can have time for their fans to travel to the game.

 

11/12 & 10/13 have less distance to travel and they'll be able to get a good gate right out the gate to kick things off.

9th Region appears to have the best draw.

 

The 11th rep may be a tough out for Bowling Green in quarters, but that's their only fear en route to the finals. Avoiding the 6th, 7th, and 9th (not to mention 2nd) until the finals? That's as close to a dream as Bowling Green could get. They're going to take this down.

Traditionally (basketball and baseball) they've played the local teams at night and the out-in-the-state teams during the day. We shall see. Either way, will be fun, as always! :thumb:

Considering a 4th Region fan wrote it I wouldn't take it to personal.

So the 6th vs 7th region was very close to drawing each other first round, just like the girls bracket.
