For those who wanted snow

Featured Replies

I don't want it to snow but don't want to go to work/school either. Maybe we should schedule more national holidays so we don't have to beg for snow days.

Strike while his pen is hot. National UGE day. We need a petition.

With barley enough snow to even be measurable, Anderson County did not have school today.

It was slicker than greased BB's in Owsley County this morning.

Took my dog out for a walk and the road was snow/ice and I had to be very careful walking on it. No school today and I can see why.

nWo, is the potential big snow-maker still on the radar for next weekend?

It is still showing snow for this weekend. Especially north of I-64. Accumulation totals will fluctuated as we get closer so I'm not ready to say how much yet. It would be irresponsible to do that.

Even I, as much as I love snow, don't embrace the removal part like I used too. Glad you know I was just having a little fun with you. I hope you find a good neighborhood kid to do the removal for you. :thumb:

Don't have any around. However R2S if we did, that would entail the little cherubs to put down that video game controller or phone, get off the couch and come do something in cold weather. You're just asking for the moon you know! :wideyed:

The first couple of weeks of February are looking pretty interesting if what the GFS model is showing comes true. It is showing that we have a couple of shots at accumulating snow. One possible this weekend and then the following weekend. For now the one for the second weekend looks like the strongest one. It is too far in the future to really accurately predict what we will get.

Just keep checking back for updates.

Keep predicting snow in February nWo!!!!! 60's this weekend - played 18 holes yesterday and today. Forecast for next weekend is even sunnier and warmer!!!

Run to State may be disappointed but I want sunny and 70 in February:lol2:

Only if I can get highs in the 60s in July or August.

This weekends weather forecast looks completely snow free. I'll probably be able to get the kayak and spend some time on the water. February is the only month out of the past 12 that I haven't had a chance to get out on a lake/river, looks like that may change Saturday.
