In all seriousness, which heights are those? The lofty ones that the Camel's now sit on? :D

With all due respect (with much respect to Ricky Bobby), amongst schools the same size, you would be hard pressed to find a school that has achieved less (in all sports) than Campbell County. A little wrestling success, a few recent regional titles in basketball, not too long ago the girls track program was strong, and ..... well.... that is about it. Am I forgetting anything. Oh yeah, you do have long track record of excellence in band, so don't let anyone take that away from you.

Probably a topic for another thread, but what has kept Campbell County from being good at anything other than wrestling (and band) would be interesting topic.

I love this post Oldbird!!!!

Just realized that 12 guys got in the game for Highlands on Tuesday night and a kid that started a majority of the season last year saw "no time"

Highlands is carrying a lot and playing a lot of kids this year. Mentioned that it was good to see Listerman getting the players to come out.

No need to bash on the entire school just because there is one ignorant Campbell County fan on here. Pretty sure girls basketball team was in the elite 8 last year and the boys baseball made it to the state finals. Many good things going on at Campbell County. Camelman does not represent most camel fans views. Listerman is a solid coach and any normal person can see that.

State runner-up last year in baseball.

True .... and band they are great at band. :)

I'm struggling to see why the digs at one poster for asking a legitimate question. Is Listerman off limits? :idunno:

Yikes. Lots of pent up emotion.

Many of the same kids as last year. Kid in question is a "basketball only" kid who started a majority of games last year. Trust me when I say that he is certainly amongst the 12 best players in the program right now.

Why is he off limits? Care to explain? The issue would appear to be the same banter that goes on from someone outside the program taking their jabs.

I certainly wouldn't compare him to THAT person. I just didn't see his question as a big deal. JMO

You would be wrong, but I do crack myself up.
