Again, I don't think the issues folks have with Trump are about loss of rights. The issues with Trump are his lack of sensitivity, combativeness, pettiness, etc in dealing with people, especially those who he feels are not in lock step with him. Throw in the remarks he made about women, and many fear that some of these less desirable traits will become more prominent within society.

 

Since Trump won the election I've read here and there of women and those in the LGBT community saying he will turn back the clocks on their rights. I even recall something about him trying to bring back slavery. My FB feed has been full of this stuff since November as well. Trumphobia has been in full boogeyman mode.

No you don't have to be a caveman and go around bashing people over the head to get along in this world. I also don't want a snowflake in charge of the security of this nation either. Please realize that there are people out there that want to cut your head off. Kill you because of where you live and how you live. Appeasement does not work on these people so I don't want a weak minded or speaking guy in charge. The only reason we have not been attacked more is our projection of strength. That snowflake would not have gotten you anything but abuse where I grew up. All my fights were actually standing up for those being picked on, All. So while they were not able to defend themselves I guess they were happy to have someone who would fight for them. So you can kill the alpha male garbage because without some of us looking out for those others they would have not liked the outcome. There are animals out there that prey on the weak and some stronger willed who defend it. This world is not at the point of everyone holding hands and singing a showtune. While your notion of the world is commendable it's not the one we live in. Alpha males keep you safe every day, they are called soldiers, police officers. I doubt we would be safe if they acted like the left has over a fair election. What would you do if someone was getting their teeth kicked in in front of you for no reason. Hug'em? I know that it gives me great comfort having Pence with his track record being merely just a heartbeat away from being the face of our nation.

 

So nice after watching a country finally, and really just briefly starting to show signs of waking up after a couple of centuries of ignorance, that has it's roots throughout history, just to abruptly turn right back around with aims to push thing back to the dark ages.

 

Sure, he doesn't get it just like millions of others don't, but I reached my 50's after seeing things inch at a snail's pace to a better place of hope after seeing so many unjustifiably mistreated, and was hoping that I could live out the rest of my days in a country that felt more welcoming, but with guys like him pushing an agenda of ignorance, it just stands to justify the masses to regain that ugly stranglehold of ignorance once more.
