January 22, 20179 yr What exactly is a stinger on the ankle? I've never heard that expression used when describing an ankle sprain. Exactly what I was going to ask.
January 22, 20179 yr What exactly is a stinger on the ankle? I've never heard that expression used when describing an ankle sprain. I don't know but that's the word he used to describe what it might be.
January 22, 20179 yr I like the bigger lineup that Cal used at times. Cats really rebounded the ball well with three bigs.
January 22, 20179 yr Love Gabriel. He is getting better every game. This will be very valuable come tourney time. Need him and Willis both to make a real run. Same here. I love how hard that Gabriel plays, he's not shy to do the "grunt work" as I call it. I was more optimistic about Willis after this one, he stepped up more than what he has been.
January 22, 20179 yr I was getting a little worried with Fox out and Briscoe and Hawkins each having four fouls. To me Monk is not a great ball handler. Who would Cal have put out there as guards?
January 22, 20179 yr Business as usual. Carolinas leading scorer averages 16 and gets 34 tonight.I don't think that's a fluke though, that dude can flat out ball.

January 22, 20179 yr Same here. I love how hard that Gabriel plays, he's not shy to do the "grunt work" as I call it. I was more optimistic about Willis after this one, he stepped up more than what he has been. I agree, Gabriel does seem to give maximum effort.
January 22, 20179 yr Think how good Gabriel would be if he put on 30 pounds or so. The dude would be a monster.
January 22, 20179 yr I don't think that's a fluke though, that dude can flat out ball. The first line, business as usual, that means I am saying it's exactly the opposite of a fluke. The 2nd part that the averages 16 points, that's how good he is on an average day vs everyone else. Flat out ball or not 16 is 16. Then Kentucky gives him 34. A trend for Cals defense Louisville game, UCLA game etc...your quote looks like you didn't even read what was said.

I'm saying just because he only averages 16 ppg doesn't mean that a 34 point game from the guy is unexpected because he is a great player. You made it seem fluky that he could go for 34. It's not he is that good of a player.

January 22, 20179 yr You didn't understand. It's that Kentucky frequently lets players go off for career highs against them. And I'm pointing out that in this instance it's just coincidental evidence. It's really not that hard to understand.
