February 13, 20179 yr I lean more to the global warming is real side, but im not one hundred percent convinced. That being said how many summers in a row have to be the hottest on record before we except global warming as fact? In the 70's we had a few really cold winters, including the blizzard of 78, that prompted scientists to alarm about a new ice age and global cooling. So in light of that fairly recent 'Situation Normal All Fouled Up' event from the world of climate science, I'd say we give it a bit more time before we go all "Global Warming", Chicken Little, because summer is hot sometimes.

February 13, 20179 yr I believe in reasonable environmental regulations. I believe that unchecked pollution is a health hazard. I also believe that the current environmental movement has gone way off the rails. There is still to much evidence available to me that says the earth's climate changed before man was ever here to convince me that man's presence is causing climate change now.

I believe a large portion of liberal city dwellers are fools. I'm not mean spirited, just not going to wear kid gloves when speaking to other adults. How you feel about what I said and your need to be included in something I didn't say directly to you is your issue. I would love to see liberal areas scattered. That kind of thought process in such a concentrated area is dangerous. Most cities are liberal, failing, dangerous and oblivious as to why. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that. Back to global warming, I will never believe the data of left wing scientist who have shown and been proven to have a political agenda to the point that they will taint, construct, and misinform the public for their purpose. If it was as they say they wouldn't have to stoop to such tactics to get their point across. Taxing people won't fix a thing except redistribute wealth. Where have we heard that one before? Again, how else am I supposed to take your statements?? Invest in scuba gear if you want to go home It wouldn't hurt my feelings to see half of california and the east coast become manmade reefs anyway. Spread those fools out. I'm from the east coast. So, I'm part of the group you called fools...am I to assume you think I'm the exception?? I'm suppose to except your flawed science and your cause at face value. Some of your thought offend my ears, the difference is I dont whine about it. I can have a healthy, hard full, honest discussion without playing the victim card. February 15, 20179 yr Folks, it's plain and simple. The root of the climate change political movement is to try to discredit and destroy Capitalism...............nothing more, nothing less. The rest of you are being duped into latching onto it.

What this issue has done well, if nothing else, is to expose that people will go to great lengths smugly pretending to be an authority on something when they are nowhere near being so, while adding to it an air of arrogance to give the appearance of their indisputable assuredness. Dollars to donuts no one will address what I have said for if they did it might make them have to reevaluate their approach in discussing the topic, and where's the fun in having to admit your lack of authoritative knowledge, and then along with it having to pull back the reins on unjustified delusions of superiority? Some will completely understand what I've just said while others will promptly dismiss it as looney talk. But don't mind me...just carry on...
February 15, 20179 yr The head of the UN climate change department, ( Figures or something) just came out on record and stated the their goal is to destroy capitalism and reset the global economies template. Admitted that none of their policies would change anything except redistribute the wealth from thriving countries to poorer countries.
