The question asked of him was did he meet with the Russian to discuss the campaign.. That answer was no.. There was no secret meeting or anything.. The first meeting was arranged by the Obama administration and numerous people were present.. The second meeting was open also.. Half of Congress has meet with the Russian Ambassador from time to time.. Let it go!!

In case you have not read any of the articles (which appears likely), many Democrat Party leaders, including Nancy Pelosi and Claire McCaskill have already been caught lying about meeting with the Russian ambassador and other Russian representatives.

 

What I find ironic is that liberals constantly rail about the need to negotiate with the Castros, Iranian terrorist leaders, North Korea's regime, and other despicable individuals and regimes, yet have manufactured this scandal over Jeff Sessions meeting with the top Russian diplomat in this country, despite the fact that most people in Congress have also met him. Session was a U.S. Senator and part of the job was to meet with foreign diplomats.

 

The objective of "all of this Sessions stuff" is to undermine the Trump administration. The Obama administration began planning and laying the groundwork for this "stuff" as soon as it was clear that Trump won the election.

I agree with you that the voters are sick of all this. Unfortunately, it isn't going to end and Trump needs to try and rise above it. I just don't know if he is capable of it.

 

As to the Russians, the threat is real. France and Germany are facing the same Russian interference in their elections right now. Putin is just as bad, perhaps worse, than the nutjob in North Korea. He has assassinated numerous opponents. He wants to rebuild the Soviet Union. He is a career politician who somehow is now worth billions ... speculation starts at $40 billion and runs as high as $200 billion.

 

VOR I can lay out a lot of scenarios and none of them could be correct. I have thought about this alot. Common sense says this is nothing more than a smear.

 

Of course Putin tries to influence anything he can to gain the upper hand. I will also say the good ole USA does the same. If anyone does does not believe we do not, then they do not understand much. But having said that, what is wrong with talking to the Russian ambassador? Like stated above how many of the Dems talked to him? What were they talking about? All the Rs who talked to the Russians were discussing how to beat Hillary and the Ds were talking about their grandchildren right?

 

This stuff empowers Trumps base to no end and is gaining him voters every day. Watch and see. I dont need anyone to give me a poll or a "report" to know that. I talk to people every day and hear what they say from both sides of the coin. I will say this once again. People are tired and growing very tired of obstruction. Time to stop.

I asked a simple question. Look at that timeline of events and tell me if you can at least partially understand how one might be skeptical. If it makes it easier change the names to Kerry, Biden, and Obama and tell me if you'd be skeptical. That's all I'm asking.

Earlier this week, Kislyak sat with Democrats during President Trump's first address to a joint session of Congress.

 

Many of them met with him at least as recently as 2015.

 

Sessions didnt lie about anything.

 

This was blown way out of proportion by these hypocritical democrats.
