What about the Fern Creek QB!

As I understand it, he has been suspended.

Hynes played against Conner.

His first game against Meade Co., he was 8 for 12 for 193 yards and 3TD's.

Cory Dill has also played qb for the Birds. Bardo and Dill have been sharing playing time. They've both played extremely well this season.

The QB play at HHS has been good to date...Both QB's have talent and must continue to work hard but, one player does not make a team. This team is loaded with talent at the line, receivers and running backs!!!

The Dill kid is not getting the same time at QB as Bardo. I think the Dill kid is the better of the two. He is more accurate and seems like he is in more control out their. I'm not sure why he is not the starter?

Good Lord, a qb controversy at the Freshmen level?

While you are entitled to your opinion as to the better qb, the frosh coaching staff evidently disagrees with you so far this season. If Cory proves he's doing a better job than Wil, then Cory will be the starting qb. I haven't added up the minutes each has played, but Cory has gotten plenty of playing time to show his skills (and has done a nice job, particularly in the Ryle game).

I won't get into whom I think is better for two reasons: A) my opinion doesn't mean squat; and B) they are both good kids whom I know well and are both trying as hard as they can and to the best of their abilities. Lets not start the junk that was posted on here last year about what Highlands player should be starting in front of another Highlands player. Its not only silly, its not good for the kids or the team.

Lexington Cathlic freshman Nick Ward is going to be a great qb.

He has played JV for LC agianst two pretty good programs and has done quite well. LC's two JV games so far have been agianst St. X and Cincy St. X.

Coming from 4 coaches on the high school level…1, D-1 quarterback, which worked out with him for the summer…Ratliff at Knott Co. will be one of the best kids to come out of the mountains ever…He is still lacking a little arm strength to catch up with his 6’3” frame, but fundamentally he is far beyond his age….He was thrown in as a starter 3 games into the season against a pretty good Clay Co. defense last week …6-13 175yds, 1TD, 1INT

The freshman for Holy Cross was a stud Qb I'm not too sure of his name though

This kid can play any where QB TB DB they got a good one over there at HC.

The Bardo kid from Highlands is a pretty good player with a good arm, once his vision opens up he'll be an outstanding player.

Also the kid from Dixie (name?) is a great quarterback as well. He throws a very nice ball and is on the money with all his throws.

If you ever get into Cincy, check out Spencer Ware at Princeton. He's already the Varsity starter, and looked amazing Saturday vs Shaker Heights...

dont forget about the kid at hazard. freshman, 6'2 and has everything you need for a qb. he also led his eight grade team to a conference title. led his varisty team, with his first start, to a 47 to 12 win over jenkins.

I can speak for the Clay County and North Laurel QB's as well, they both will be dandy's. However, Clay's will not get to play until he is a senior.

I will also mention Dustin Bishop of Rockcastle County, he has a powerful arm and will be very tall and possess the intelligence to play the position.

I can't say A whole lot about Clay's and Nothe Laurel's QB's. But I have heard alot of goods things about Dustin Bishop, I totally agree with you.:thumb:

When someone posted a thread saying that the two QB's are sharing playing time, it got me going. The Dill kid is not getting the same time as the Bardo kid. That was my point, and for me i think the time he has played he's done alot better job of running the offense. I think this Dill kid is one of the best frosh QB's coming up. I know to the coaches my oppinion does'nt mean a thing. That's why i'm here and they are their.

Clay County's quarterback's record speaks for itself. Being surrounded by great players is also a big asset for him. I haven't kept up with North Laurel much lately. Not knocking North, but I don't think that he has hardly as much talent surrounding him as the other two mentioned.

As for the Rock, I understand that the quarterback has a great arm and is very athletic. How good are his surroundings? I hear that he has a lot of skilled athletes by his side. Should make for a good future!
