Top Freshmen QBs

Clay County has a kid #3 Corey Nicholson that directed his middle school team to a 24-0 record over two years he's a very athletic Kid backing up Mr. Everything Zack Lewis. You'll hear his name in the future it might not be at QB but he'll make big plays somewhere, because real players just play no matter where they stand on the field.

How did he go 24-0 the last two year?

8th grade team last year lost at least one if not two games to North Laurel as well as one to Whitley County.

7th Grade team year before last lost to Meece Middle School.

Maybe if he played 8th grade ball two years in a row he would only lost to to NL and Whitley, but even then Clay Middle was not undefeated last year by any stretch.

That said kid, the kid is a player though.

Is he just going to be a freshman? I remember him from LL baseball all-stars and would have thought that he should be going into his junior year, maybe I'm thinking of the wrong Nicholson.

Could be same Kid, Clay County likes to have players play "DOWN" to run up their middle school record. Why I don't know, but they do?

Brian Buehner, son of the infamous Rick Buehner (class of '76), looks to be a hot prospect for the St. X Tigers in the near future. JMHO, but I think Brian will see some field time for the Varsity Tigers Offense this year as a Sophomore. Brian handled himself very well in both the UofL and Bullet East 7on7 tournaments.

The Freshman Tigers went 7 and 1 last year loosing only to Cincinnati Moeller, at Moeller, with an 11 am start time. That means the Baby Bengals had to get up at the crack of dawn to make the trip to Cincy. Plus it was their opening game of the season.

I had heard Coach K's son will be attending Trinity. I had also heard that he's not as good as UL's former coach's son, so I would be a little surprised to see him start.

Coach K, as in Mickey?

Nope, Mickey is no longer the big Coach K in town.

Whoever this new Coach K is, he needs to find another name, because no one can replace Coach Kalbin.....

I believe the coach he's talking about is Coach Kragthorpe and I've heard about the X incoming QBs but who are some of the other ones that are going to Trinty besides Coack K's son?

That can only be hearsay, in that he hasn't played in front of anyone here in Louisville....but DING DING DING

Oh, U of L's coach is being called Coach K. Not heard about his kid, does he play football? I thought he only played tennis!!!!

Larimore (sp?) from Beechwood .6'2 ISH AND 180 ISH .I beleive he will be qbing the JV this year .

Out of what I've seen of the NL and Clay QB's, they are both good players. However, Wardrup from NL will be a sophomore. I think he has an awesome arm but may need some work on decision making. I saw NL using 2 or 3 different kids at the QB position during some 7 on 7 events I attended. Those guys looked pretty good.

Clay's freshman qb this year is J.V. Hooker. He is an outstanding prospect with a great arm and speed. He will be a star unless the BB powers talk him into only playing roundball.
