January 1, 20179 yr Bowl Standings is a worthless stat. Does anyone really think that 5-7 Miss. St winning by one point over 6-6 Miami of Ohio is in any way as meaningful as Alabama winning over Washington? Did 6-6 Boston College beating a 6-6 Maryland show any kind of conference dominance?

According to those whose dreams are squashed every year in the HS Football forums they need something to hang their hat on even if it doesn't mean anything at all. Woopee the ACC has a winning record in meaningless games that no one cared about except the teams own fan base. That and 5 bucks will get you a coffee at a Kroger Starbucks.
January 2, 20179 yr I am a big OSU fan but this bowl season has NOT been kind to the Big Ten...especially with its top teams. OSU and Iowa frankly were embarrassed in their games. Michigan loses to Florida St., MAC school WMU gives Wisconsin a decent game. Nebraska loses by 2 TD's against a "just OK but nothing special" Tennesee. If Penn St loses to USC today, the top 6 teams in the Big Ten will have gone 1-5 with its lone win against a MAC school...ugh...
