Glad to see the Tops play well and win another bowl game. I'm in love with that program right now and I'm anxious to see Coach Sanford continue the wave they have been riding.

I was sick as hell with whatever this stomach virus is going around, so I only watched all of maybe a quarter (somewhat "listened" to the rest). I was dang glad to see the TOPS to not only win this game, but win in it in the fashion that they did.

 

Say what you want, but UK nor UL wanted to see them this year.

I think you may be right, I wouldn't have been surprised if WKU was the best overall team in KY this year.

Their only hiccup was the Vandy game, but they scored 30 vs them and it should have been a lot more if not for turnovers inside the red zone.

 

I thought that loss would have been a blemish, but after seeing how they (Vandy) played UK to a TD, and then beating UGA between the hedges and then only losing to FL by a TD...I don't know how anybody in their right mind could realistically argue against them being the best in our state this year.

Congrats to Max Halpin (CCH) on a great 4 years and some really good mention by the broadcasting team on his leadership. Awesome way to go out. He's a good kid and has a great dad.

Hope he at least gets some tryouts at next level.
