How Many Miles Are You Driving For Christmas?

Wife's parents recently moved back up around where they are from (Cortland, OH), which means we will be doing a little more driving this year than we have in years past. From Thursday Night through Monday we'll be traveling 677 miles round trip.

 

Nice thing is our families are cool with figuring things out and we can always spend quality time at each and not be rushed, which is also why we go multiple days.

 

How many miles will you travel? Are are you the lucky ones and people come to you?

When ever we do it it will be about 500 miles round trip, just not sure when it will be yet.

Absolutely, at least for Christmas morning.

 

Although, next year I'm sure we'll be back to our normal 200+ miles of traveling over the 2 days.

 

We made it very clear when we found out she was pregnant and due this close to Christmas that we would not be attending all the extended family events. So we offered to do immediate family at our place to make everyone (us included) happy.

Zero. Me and my golden shetlamoski will be staying home. I did the 2300 mile round trip drive one year. Too much for a short time and in the winter.

Drove to St. Augustine FL last week to celebrate early Christmas with my parents. 1650 miles round trip. Driving to Murray tomorrow to celebrate early Christmas with mcmama's kinfolk. Reservations at Patti's 1800s Settlement for lunch tomorrow, then on to Murray. 650 miles round trip.
