I have been told that they play about 9 players every game. I am asuming he is trying to find the best combination. The good thing about basketball is that the hot teams at the end of the year win not the beginning. Will be interesting to see how they respond to some early losses.

NCC teams in the recent past have opened the season ready to go then seem to peak again at All-A time and then hit a little lull before Districts/Regionals and then are in the mix with other teams seemingly "catching up" to them.

 

This year will be the opposite of that in they would hope to be one of those dangerous type teams with a so-so record that come playoff time you are hoping not to draw because they have evolved since the beginning of the season. We shall see.

Going back to the technical in my opinion change the game not saying NCC would have won but at that point NCC had momentum and that technical quickly took that momentum away from NCC and put it back on the Camels.

I wont mention names but I have seen 2 given out this year, one to a player and one to a coach that was ridiculous, the one to a player was bc they were mad at themselves and the other to a coach bc the ref couldn't handle a call being questioned.

You are probably reading too much into what you think about how this incident was a "T". I'll agree with Clyde, you get in someone face after a play, it's taunting, and there is zero tolerance. I will bet that in this case, this particular player may have been discussed in pre-game.......

 

Players, coaches and fans need to understand "fuse length" is not a factor...but there are rules and points of emphasis, and that's how the game is managed and demanded to be managed by those that interpret and dictate rules.

I am not disagreeing with you at all but playing basketball and other sports for that matter is emotional. I am not saying that's not what happened but from my view after he made the layup he said that on his way getting back down the court I don't think it was meant for it to be in anyone's face. If you knew the young man you would know that is not who he is.

I can't say for certain if the technical was legit or not as I didn't really see Hall's behavior in question, but you are correct that it did indeed take the momentum away from NCC as they at that point were no doubt charging back and looking poised to continue to closing the gap. This call abruptly stopped all of that for them.

 

If he did actually commit what he is accused of I suppose that his overzealousness can be attributed to the enthusiasm that he was exuding in staying pumped up in their comeback.
