Saw the player in question say something directed toward a Campbell Co. player. Point is don't direct anything AT another player. Anything that is intended to show-up another player or an official is considered unsportmanlike. Does it happen and nothing is calles? Yes it does, but that's because an official didn't see it or "missed the call" by not calling it. This is preventive officiating and keeps games from getting "chippy'. Point is, it IS a violation whether it is called all the time or not.

Mouth in check? He said "Let's go" ... I think you are making to much of it. How many times have you seen passion after a great shot?

Cc might of won the game but they didn't shut Hall down that's for sure.

He was the momentum are you sure you watched the same game. After that the team went on to cut the lead to 6 before they had to foul . His team backed what you would call his "actions" I would call getting into the game showing emotion.

He's a good kid plays hard and made an awesome shot at that time.

Hall didn't start his bulk of scoring until the Camels went into a zone defense. When the Camels were in man to man and Clos was guarding him. Clos only allowed Hall 2 field goals and one of those was off a double screen that slowed Clos down for second. Hall is a really talented player but to say he wasn't shut down would be correct when Camels played zone not when they were playing man to man.

Looks like he had 4 buckets in transition, 2 against M2M, 1 on a steal, and 3 3s against a zone. Also fouled once on a drive vs M2M.

 

Regarding the T he clearly said something to the kid after the basket.

KHSAA doesn't have stats for the Scott Co game but I'm surprised to see Hall only shooting 32% from 3. Stroke looks really good.

I never said his actions changed the momentum of the game. I never said he wasn't a good kid who plays hard. I never said he didn't have a good game. I DID say the technical was deserved.

From what I'm told, I think you might be missing the 3rd, and key word here.......one that warranted the "T".

 

Sometimes emotions get the best of even the best players, and I consider B. Hall to be one of the best.
