December 16, 20169 yr Nothing of any great affect , Russia is expanding and not backing down. Let's not forget the hot mic incident between President Obama and Putin right before the 2012 election. This is all probably worth a separate thread. But, the 2014 sanctions have had a drastic impact. The Russian economy has mostly collapsed from the weight of them. Russia's antagonism in Syria is in response to this. Putin's found an area where he can excite nationalism at home with little risk. And the whole thing started after he was embarrassed when the Ukrainians took to the streets to oust Viktor Yanukovych, and with him Russia's last hope of cracking the expansion of Western culture into the FSRs. Russia hasn't been riding a string of successes, and they're mostly making a bunch of noise to overcompensate for they're failures. That's also why Putin has taken to ratcheting up his antagonism toward the US (and why it's so bizarre Americans have taken to cheerleading his belligerence). Edited December 16, 20169 yr by Habib
December 16, 20169 yr Again who was in charge of Russian reset , who had the hot mic with Putin , who drew the red line in Syria and who saw Ukraine get invaded. The economy is down in Russia but they haven't backed down and are expanding. No one here is a fan of Russia and it's nonsense to say suggest any large part of America supports them. I'm as anti Russia as it gets and its why I supported Romney in 2012. He understood their threat the no one on the left took serious until Podesta email got hacked.

How would you or I know what evidence is truly there ?AFAIK, there has not even been an allegation that the Russians hacked a single voting machine or computer used to tally the votes. Do you have any evidence that the election was hacked? If not, how can you defend such misleading headlines? There has also been zero evidence that Putin gave the order to hack the election. Expert opinions about a hacking that never took place are not facts. Hacking into the DNC email system and leaking the politically damaging contents of those messages is not hacking an election. It is an example of how painful the truth can be for a crooked organization or individual.

December 16, 20169 yr I will say it again. I am not in favor of anyone hacking. I dont foe one minute think that the emails cost Clinton the election. Tell me who was on the fence and trying to figure out who they were for? Really? But I will say this again. I am glad it came out. It shows how dirty and crooked the left is to everyone. That cannot be disputed. And alot here supported that and the candidate that was at the head of this corruption. Speaks volumes.
