I guess I wasn't clear on what I was trying to say. The computers don't know JH had players out. The computers don't know about injuries etc. That's why computer ranking can be skewed. JH was not at full strength now they are. They could be much better than computer rankings indicate.

 

Ok. I understand that. I would expect a good game between these 2 teams. I would give a slight edge to FS though. Good luck to both teams.

Formula for the dogs is simple...oline play. If FS has a dominant dline this could be a long nite. The team has alot of confidence though

This bodes well for JH. If they can't disrupt the timing of JH's wing T they will move the ball. the dogs have very good skill position players that can match most teams

The FS defense has given up 110 points in 13 games. 8.5 pts/game. Nine games of 7 points or less. Most points in a game was 24 to South Warren back in September.

 

But John Hardin is probably the best FS Has seen this year.

FS strength on defense is the defensive line... Nobody has successfully ran the ball against that line. FS D-Line should continue to dominate

Having seen both teams this season-- this game is a toss up. The JH Qb play has been the difference in this team. He is completing 75% of his passes over the last 3-4 games and his ability to run ball adds another threat. FS has speed all over the field. Their Qb has been able to do a great job as well in big games. As most games-- turnovers will be the key.

Playing a game at John Hardin in the playoffs is TOUGH...

This FS team has made fewer mistakes than any FS team I can remember. Very few turnovers, few penalties (ACS playoff game notwithstanding), few mental mistakes. Combine that with the speed, size and skill they have, and they will be hard to beat. If JH line play is suspect, that may make the difference in the game as FS is very good on both lines. SW had a few D-I athletes on its team, and they were largely shut down by the FS defense. If JH plays up to their capability, this may well be the toughest game for FS yet, maybe even the last game they play. But I think FS will continue its run to WKU. I'll say FS 34-20.

I'm not sure there is a better D-line in 4A. When those guys decide to go to work there hasn't been many to block them. If everyone is correct and the D-line is the difference maker then FS gets the edge.

IF FS's dline is legit, it will be a problem for JH. Expecially on the interior. JH is starting to hit a stride, don't know if it means a W against FS though...I know nothing about them

FS vs Caldwell County earlier in the season and the final score 14-6, jumps out at me as troubling for FS vs John Hardin. After witnessing Caldwell County vs North Hardin and Elizabethtown, they were an average team, at best. If FS had trouble against Caldwell County, I think they are in trouble vs John Hardin.

Caldwell is a good game to judge FS by. It was a battle.

FS dominated that game from the beginning and Caldwell's coach called the game at halftime. Good luck with that one. That game was a 100 years ago too. Lol

You can't really use a game called at halftime, in week 2, as an example to say FS will struggle. FS dominated a SW team that has a few Div-1 athletes on it. If FS keeps doing what they have been doing, then FS is gonna be making the short drive to BG next week.
