I think that is probably a very fair and accurate assessment. It should be a heck of a ball game. I'm like you, I think who takes care of the ball the best could be who wins this ball game.

 

Luckily FS doesn't turn the ball over Much, while their defense gets turnovers a lot.

FS has trailed in three games.

 

Greenwood scored late to lead 20-17. FS won 24-20.

 

SW led 14-0 and 21-7 during the Sept 23rd game. FS won 30-24.

 

Russellville led 7-0. FS won 34-7.

 

SW led 7-0 in the 2nd quarter. FS won 33-16.

 

In the SW game last week:

FS drove 76 yds in 10 plays, 4:42 clock to tie 7-7.

FS drove 89 yds in 4 plays, 1:32 clock to lead 14-7

FS went 86 yds in 3 plays, 1:04 clock to lead 21-7

FS drove 42 yds in 9 plays, 4:56 clock to lead 33-14.

 

Sounds like FS is prone to starting a little flat then finishing strong. Hopefully they don't find themselves in too much of a hole to dig out of at the end!

They definitely do not start "flat". If they were flat teams would be rolling up early scores. South Warren hit some big first half plays in in the September game and led 21-14 at halftime. FS finished strong and won 30-24.

 

John Hardin has big play potential without question. The Cats will be mentally ready but don't look for them to be jumping around, fist pumping, and posing after routine plays.
