How many state championships has Holy Cross won? I don't know much about their program historically

Just the 1 in 2011

One advantage I'll give Danville is that they have returning players who made it to this game last season. They will be hungry to get the win this time. I know that was a bitter loss at NCC last season and many of them felt like they should have won.

The ball carrier was down, the defender was down and the ref blew the whistle.

Let it go... HC beat NCC on the field.

.....and two NewCath coaches confirmed this with me as well, so let's put this issue to bed.

Sounds like a some NCC fans are coming down to cheer for Danville.

I was going to come up and watch but 3 days at UK Medical Center for steroid treatments for a flare up of my MS has my immune system down so I'll follow online. Good luck, I'll be pulling for you guys.

Hope you start feeling better soon :thumb:

Thanks, I'm doing okay. It was just a flare up of an old lesion that took my right hand and arm out of commission. No new lesions and the steroids seem to be working.

Good luck to the Indians! Ground and pound!

If there are some people who can’t get to the game, there is an alternative for them to keep track of what is going on during the game.

The software I use ties into the NFHS Network - Live High School Sports, Stats and Events - NFHS Network. Sign up for a free account (unless you already have one). Search for Holy Cross High School (obviously, the one in Covington, KY) and click that you want to “Follow” Holy Cross. On the HC page, you should be able to see boxes for the last three games. Once the game against Danville has started, a box for the game will appear on the HC page. If you click on the box, you will be taken to the detail of the game. If you have a free account, you will not be able to see further information while the game is in progress. However, once the game is over, you will be able to see the scoring summary, box score and play-by-play.

If you would like to see the information LIVE, you can choose to purchase a monthly pass for $9.95. Immediately after that, cancel your subscription. This will give you 30 days of access without future billings. Once you have the full access, click on the HC/Danville game box and you will be able to follow the game in real time (just like ESPN). This can be used on computer, phone or tablet. For those at the game, some parents and fans might want to follow along on their phones.

Bonus - You can follow more than one team. Do a search for Beechwood. They use the same software as HC. You can then follow their game against Russellville Friday night with the same free account or with the one monthly pass.

@Lawnboy13 had better stay neutral! See you down there.

I'm pretty sure you can listen live here. Click on 1230 WHIR.

Kentucky Radio Stations - Hometown Radio Network - Danville, Ky

What time are you planning on being here?

I will probably get there by 5:30 and head over to HC tailgating.
