November 15, 20169 yr This is the CFS (Climate Forecast Model). It shows the possible weather climate about 30 days in the future. I was checking it this morning and found out that some parts of Kentucky could see their first accumulating snows around the December 8th. This is mainly north of I-64 with maybe an 1" of accumulation. Now remember this is almost a month in advance so things will more than likely change. I also find it interesting about the snow chances the week before Christmas. Will have to wait and see if this pans out. So far it is looking about how I feel this winter would start. Warm to about December then it will turn colder with the snow chances ramping up. The start of 2017 could be very interesting. Nothing definite yet. Just keep checking back. November 15, 20169 yr The last two winters have seen more cold and snow than usual. I suppose we're in a pattern of some sort. I remember the late 1970's was like that.
