November 13, 20169 yr Is it appropriate to correct another user's grammar on here? I'm just curious. I really have to bite my tongue sometimes and it's getting the point where I can't take it any more.

No disparaging, taunting, or boastful comments--especially between opponents trying to intimidate each other. This includes name calling or personal attacks toward any member, username, or school. Also, keeping in mind the youth of our student athletes, excessive "bashing" of high school athletes is prohibited. Do not comment on the manner in which another member has posted, or any violations you find in their posts. Such public remarks will be considered a violation under this rule. If you feel that a specific post violates our rules, please report it using the "Report Post" feature which is located under the username in every post.
November 13, 20169 yr That's what I thought. My bad for not looking at the rules. Some of us just make vague reference threads. Clyde's actually worse than me about it, if you can fathom that.

November 14, 20169 yr Plus if it were allowed, this site would blow up! :lol2: There are occasions when I just don't quite get the point, even after reading a post several times.
November 14, 20169 yr This site is full of Spelling Bee Champs. :lol2: While I can't speak for anyone else, I did in fact win my school's title as a 5th-grader, beating out middle-schoolers for the crown. Got to go to the big Scripps-Howard event in Cincy that aired on (I think) Channel 9. Made it through a couple rounds but then got tripped up on "opiate."

November 14, 20169 yr Everyone slips from time to time. Yes, even you all on the GPD force. Occasional blunders don't bother me at all. Repeat offenders are a little worse, but still nothing to get worked up over. I do hate when I make a typo and don't catch it in time to fix it.

Deuce, you have to admit there are times when I'm guessing the phone auto-correct took over and the sender just did not proofread or pay attention. All you can do with those posts are to respond....HUH? Of course maybe they were trying to respond while driving on the interstate and eating that Big Mac........just a guess on my part.
