November 9, 20169 yr Author The urban areas are so heavily populated I assume it takes longer to get the full count in. Plus in NC you have Durham County where they kept the polls open late and it is a heavy Dem county. Hillary has a decent chance of winning NC. And as I type that it looks like Trump's lead increased in NC, so I am not sure she can pull that one out.
November 9, 20169 yr Will we see a re-count in FL? Here is where Florida can get close - Broward and Miami-Dade. It looks like there are A LOT more voters in those two counties than 4 years ago. And Clinton will harvest many more votes from from these two. If the percentages hold these 2 counties could close the gap about 70K. But also some R heavy counties out as well.

November 9, 20169 yr Regardless of how it ends, I was wrong in my assessment, thinking an easy HRC win. I am depressed, and never like to be wrong, but I'm wrong a lot so I'll get over that. Never should have stole the primary from Bernie. Going to call it a night. I'll eat crow more appropriately later, but right now just really depressed about what this portends for all of us. Hard to imagine anyone, on either side, being happy or satisfied with the two least popular candidates of all time. To be fair, most aren't happy with Obama either. So it's not all a wash, just a trend.
