What must the Royals do to beat the Tomcats at Putnam Stadium?

Tomcats win .... by a lot. Good Luck to Ashland, I hope that you make a deep run.

Play a Great game and Ashland gives them LOTS of help.

Ashland is destined to meet Johnson Central one more time this season. In beating Tates Creek, the Tomcats showed that their district is not quite as weak as Johnson Central has made it look. Ashland would hold its own with any 4A team in the state, with the exception of JC, and they enter the game with Mason with some momentum. JC cannot afford to take a second win over the Tomcats for granted.

Ashland has to get allot together if they look to make any kind of run! Seems they've gotten a few things worked out, picking up the win against Tates Creek. It's been a tough go this year for the tomcats dropping to 1A Raceland and not even being close at JC. Their defiantly down but With that said Ashland should still have this first round taken care of with a fair amount of ease!

The versatility of Ratliff at QB will give most teams fits. Mason Co. is no different. Ashland wins this one going away.

Hope they can at least make the region final against JC. Not sure we have anything for them if we get their but would be nice to get another chance.

:thumb: I hope that you do. I agree about the possible matchup with JCHS but should you get there and then in a one game scenario who knows :idunno:. I like the quote that Lou Holtz always had about games like this .... "you don't have to be better than them all season, you just have to be better than them for 48min. on game day" .

Anyway, I hope the Tomcats get there and have that shot. I only root against Ashland in one game each season ...when you play Raceland

I know Mason Co's record is 4-6, but do they have any threats that the Cats need to be aware of? I saw on KHSAA that they have passes for 900+ yards, but only one qb was listed with only 700+ yards passing... Not sure what the issue is.

Is Tyrion Fox out for this game? I know he's missed the last few.

With or without him, I like the Tomcats to win this one comfortably. They've really put together a nice season after their early offensive woes.

I think the Royals will stay with them for a while. The Royals MO is they wear down in the second half, no different here I fear.

Game day!!! Should be a good night for the Cats. Ashland has too much fire power for the Royals.

Ashland 35

Mason Co. 14
