No, I am convinced Ashland beat Russell because they are the better team. However, last Saturday night the Red Devils were in a position to be very, very confident of their prowess as a football team and did not miss that opportunity to be so.

 

As we all know, success in the past does not guarantee automatic success in the future or even the present for that matter.

 

Good luck to the devils with their attempt in “Going back for seconds”.

I think Russell will roll tonight, but I will say that IMO they have D-line issues. Thomas ran through giant holes all night last week.

Thomas ran through giant holes which were created by an offensive line that was allowed to horse-collar, tackle, and wrestle the D-line down to the ground. I'm just saying that the D-line does not have alot of issues that many people think. Film never lies.

The best team does not always win!! This is a non-bias opinion after seeing both teams play 2 games, I think Russell is the better football team.

They were the better team that night. The score doesn't lie. As for missing opportunities that night. They were missed more from poor execution than poor attitude.

 

Past success does not gaurentee automatimc success in the future. It does build a program that expects to win.
