October 26, 20169 yr Warriors return virtually everyone from a team that won an NBA record 73 games last season and honestly made it look easy. With the addition of arguably one of the most talented players to ever play the game, still in his prime, how many games to they win this season? I know there is an over under thread for the NBA but this one is just to discuss the most interesting team in the NBA the Golden State Warriors. How many games do they win? How close do Steph and KD come to last seasons averages? 30.1 for Steph and 28.2 for KD last season.
October 26, 20169 yr 64 games. History shows there is a learning curve with super teams. Something has to give. And while they updgraded Barnes with Durant, the Warriors are without any rim protector.
October 26, 20169 yr Steph's average stays the same. Klay and KD both take a slight loss in average. Warriors win at least 70 games.
October 26, 20169 yr 64 games. History shows there is a learning curve with super teams. Something has to give. And while they updgraded Barnes with Durant, the Warriors are without any rim protector. Doesn't matter. This isn't like other super teams. They added KD to take Barnes' place. Everyone else there still knows what they are doing. 68 wins is the floor. 75 wins is the ceiling.
October 26, 20169 yr They won't win 70, IMO. No need to chase that record again. They'll still need to go for home court advantage in the Finals. They'll win at least 68 games.
October 26, 20169 yr I love the NBA, but this will go down in history as the worst season ever. Not because the play is poor, but because the season is largely irrelevant. Both the Warriors and Cavs will make the playoffs. The only story is, who will win? And we won't know until middle of June. (sigh)
October 26, 20169 yr Down 18 at the half and they'll win tonight by 20 Bold prediction Cotton...down 28 with 8 to go.
