October 24, 20169 yr Author A few highlights... Cards jump 2 spots to 5th...good week for them. OSU drops to 6th, probably should be lower, around 8th...where they are in the coaches poll. Michigan now #2. Houston a darling of many just 3 weeks ago have dropped out of the top 25 6 SEC schools in top 25 5 B1G schools in the top 25
October 24, 20169 yr Top 10 Should Be This: 1. Bama 2. Mich 3. Washington 4. Louisville 5. Clemson 6. West Virginia 7. Nebraska 8. Texas A&M 9. tOSU 10. Baylor tOSU doesn't deserve to be 6 right now. They will earn that back, but not right now.

If Clemson loses ANY game I think UofL can and will Jump them. I'm not sure Texas A&M should be ahead of Ohio St...but it's a coin flip.
October 24, 20169 yr Author 5 ACC schools as well. Yes, an oversight on my part...I got distracted talking and just posted, I meant to count ACC. Thanks!

I'm not sure Texas A&M should be ahead of Ohio St...but it's a coin flip. I was tellling Deuce earlier that I think UofL is the second best team in the country right now and that I would be more scared to play UofL than Bama. I understand why Clemson is higher ranked, but I just personally think UofL is better. Clemson has a switch and they flipped it against UofL, but it hasn't been flipped before then or after then. I'm starting to wonder if it was a one shot pistol. I only put A&M higher than tOSU because I am so frustrated with them right now. I think tOSU will be fine come November 26th, but right now they are not very good.
October 24, 20169 yr This part of the year in when the title race really gets fun. Read somewhere earlier that there are nine unbeaten teams left in FBS and every single one of them plays its next game on the road.

It sucks for UL because even though they are ahead for OSU now. The polls will have OSU jump them if OSU beats Michigan and wins the Big 10 championship. UL has no other games to help them out to keep them above. They need Clemson to slip up twice or Washington to lose a game.

October 24, 20169 yr This part of the year in when the title race really gets fun. Read somewhere earlier that there are nine unbeaten teams left in FBS and every single one of them plays its next game on the road. Nebraska still has road games at Wisconsin, tOSU and Iowa. That some a hard stretch to end the season with.
October 24, 20169 yr The Cards have to feel really good where they are, I know that I am. If Clemson doesn't lose the rest of the way and the top three run the table, the fat lady will be singing. Uof L had their shot and NC State had theirs and couldn't get it done. The only game that Clemson could lose is to FL. State, the rest of their schedule is a walk in the park. Also, there is no team left on U of L schedule to boost their resume'. I think one of the top three would have to have two losses if Uof L wants in the top four. I could be wrong, but I think Louisville needs lots of help.
October 24, 20169 yr Nebraska still has road games at Wisconsin, tOSU and Iowa. That some a hard stretch to end the season with. Correct, and they are very likely to drop the first 2 of those, and the 3rd will be somewhat up to what is happening between the Huskers' ears after dropping the first pair of them. Nebraska probably isn't a Top 10 team today, but they can certainly play themselves into a good spot if they can pull off monumental upsets the next two weeks (which they won't). Still...been a fun year thus far.
October 24, 20169 yr Yeah Clemson beat UofL. But look at the whole body of work. UofL's is better. Clemson has looked like a shell of itself so far this season and Louisville has the most dynamic offense and playmaker in the country. Unless Clemson loses, they're still in no matter how bad they look. But if they do drop a game, UofL should jump them. Best case scenario for UofL, Clemson loses to UNC of VT in the ACC champ game. Which is a somewhat likely possibility because both of those teams can play.
