If I had to guess, this is also what I think.

They showed him with his BF a few times.

I know one thing, there is going to be a huge cliff-hanger again at the end of this season and I am not a big fan of it. I am not saying Negan should die, but something crazy is going to happen at the end and make us wait again which I think would be terrible. Last night's episode was a drag, but I do keep telling myself that they have to set all of this up to get ready for the last two episodes which will be good. Next week I will probably say, "well the season finale has to be good."

 

I know the comics aren't over, but I don't see this show going much past 10 seasons. They are starting to lose some of their viewers and I don't see how they rebound with what the show has become.

I just simply mean we are going to be left in the middle of this war. Since they already have Negan signed on for season 8 we are going to be left wondering what is going to happen at the end of the season. I think that there are going to be a lot of questions unanswered at the end of this season, personally.

This season has been awful. Atrocious. Worst season yet.

 

I agree. I've been in since Episode 1 and have decided that I'm done after the season finale airs. Sunday's episode was the first time that I've fast-forwarded through most of the show because I knew there wasn't anything of importance going on. The show has been the same for the past 3 seasons: 2 or 3 really good episodes in a season that serve as book ends to a slew of 'ho-hum' filler episodes that buys the show more time. I wish I still had your optimism, @spindoc.

Fillers along with cheap "scares" and tricks to try and make viewers think certain characters are dead.

 

Its garbage really.
