Recent history, I think some of it may be mental with Boyle's upper classmen.

 

Maybe but a majority of the kids on the field on Friday nights has past success against LexCath in their respective age groups so I don't know if it will affect them mentally as much. Shoot, I think the game being during Fall Break may have somewhat of an impact as their student section will not be the normal Rebel Rowdy student section.

 

I think Coach Smith has yet to defeat LexCath since his return to Boyle County. I believe he will have this team prepared and focused on the task at hand.

Assuming LexCath and Boyle are 1 and 2 and round 1 plays by the chalk does it matter who the winner or loser plays in round two - assuming its either Bardstown or Central?

In a rare occurrence I will have to disagree with @PurplePride92 haha. I say it's Lex Cath's to lose. LC always plays their best game of the year against Boyle and this game is usually their catalyst to the district championship and a deep playoff run. I've got to stick with recent history until proven otherwise. As always I hope Boyle proves me wrong when I pick against them. LC by 3 to 7 points.

Only way we will travel to Central is if they are the #1 seed playing our #2 seed. It's our Districts turn to host.

It's not for sure that Central will host a 2nd. round playoff game. They would first have to beat a undefeated Bardstown team in Bardstown or they will be on the road. I will agree that a Central team on the road is much different than playing at home.

By all accounts the Rebels have had a great week of practice during Fall Break. Plenty of additional film work then straight to the practice field has been a big plus.

 

Lex Cath is Lex Cath and this is one of the best district matches in the state.

Hard to get any calls at Lex. Cath there seems to be a crew that they always get for home games that helps them quite a bit. I think LC in a close one, officiating will matter.
