Kim Kardashian West robbed at gunpoint in Paris

Featured Replies

I feel a little bit bad, but I could easily see them doing this.

I don't feel bad at all. They are a circus that thrives on media attention.

At this point I assume everything they do is a publicity stunt. I recognize it's probably not fair, but I can't help but think they (i.e. Kardashians) are doing everything they can to stay in the spotlight. Is that entirely fair? Nope.

Regarding the second point: it's harsh. Nobody should be robbed at gun point no matter of how wealthy or famous you might be. But when you go around flaunting things and making a spectacle out of everything you purchase, it's bound to happen. Again, it doesn't make it right, but I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner.

So you wouldn't wear jewelry worth 10M if someone asked you to?

That is most likely correct.

So they'd stage a robbery, report it to the French police, make official statements, have a manhunt in Paris going on right now for the robbers and y'all are thinking it is fake?

I could be naive and too trusting but if this is staged then Kim needs to serve time in a French jail. I don't think it is staged but I could be wrong. Seems like a lot of trouble for attention when all she needs to do for attention is release another home video.

Hmmm. Everybody's different.

Yes, exactly. :lol2:

Kim who?;)

So wait he as doing a concert in NYC when this happened? so that would mean Paris time is plus 5 hours. So lets say it was 9PM in NYC, thats 2AM in Paris, and these guys just made their way to her apartment? But only two of them got in? While her detail and rest of her gang were magically out on the town?

Then she is magically on a plane and back in NYC after all this happened?

Not buying it at all.

A report I read said that their biggest concern is the content on her phones that were stolen...could be new video coming out soon. Good cover for it's release while claiming she had nothing to do with it..."The thieves did it!"

FWIW I don't think this is a scam, it would be astronomically stupid to try to pull this off in another country. I think she was probably robbed.

The bigger question I have is, who really cares? Her and her whole family's status is commercialized in the pursuit of self-aggrandizement.

Just read the article and must admit I'm a bit skeptical. I mean, Lochte had more details. :D

i have no doubt that she had that much jewelry with her. She has it and certainly likes to flaunt it. Whether or not it was staged, I have no idea. Regardless, she will get her money's worth of media coverage which she seems to endlessly crave.

I will save my sympathies for the defenseless victims of crime who do not get a motorcade escort after an emergency flight home.

Some lunatic tried to sniff her butt the other day and security was on him in two seconds. I have a hard time believing they were nowhere to be found while she had $11M in jewelry on her.

I don't buy it, you can't have a gun in Paris.
