I'm getting energized by you. Increasing my steps, 1 minute plank when I get up & when I go to bed, and 25 squats everytime I finish in the bathroom. We will see....

25 squats everytime I finish in the bathroom.

That sounds risky to me...

Definately

Definately

New definition for squeezing out every pound... :idunno:

You can't out train a bad diet.

25 push-ups, 25 air squats after you eat anything. It's a good start for those looking to jump start your diet and fitness.

Just did nine miles(not sure how many steps) and my knee is barking a little bit. I wish I was younger. Damn, I wish I was younger.

Regardless of your age, someday in the future, you'll look back at your current self and say "those were the good ol' days".

Embrace every day. You'll never be as young as you are today.

As the saying goes, I run around the block every night before I go to bed. Then I reach down and push the block under my bed and go to sleep.

Man, I would be doing 700-800 push-ups a day. I think I'll just stay fat.

I'm struggling with planks. With my shoulder impingement I'm lucky to just get a few seconds before the tending that goes down over the bicep starts screaming at me. Some days, I can't even think about doing a plank.

I haven't tried squats yet. I am incorporating wall-sits though.

I do have a balance board I'm using, and I'm up to 2 minutes hands free, so I count that as an accomplishment. LOL

Most of my focus is still steps, though...Just keep steppin' is my motto these days. :lol2:

I like the update that reminds you how many steps to go per hour. I will actually get off my butt to do it.

I use a Garmin Vivosmart. I get a buzz every hour with a message to MOVE! ---literally...all caps, with an exclamation point. :lol2: I got really, really ill on Saturday and Saturday, Sunday and Monday I didn't meet my goals. :lol2: I've met them the last 2 days, though, so I think I'm back on track. But...no joke...I thought I was going to die for a few days there!

It has done wonders so far, but phase 2 includes losing 30-40 pounds, and I don't think it's going to happen just walking. I feel like I really need to up the ante.
