Rebelstat Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Stats to come after my wife cuts my hair.
charlesw88 Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Boyle County just keeps improving. Good job guys!
WestDanville Posted September 24, 2016 Author Posted September 24, 2016 I was proud to see the young guys keep Lincoln out of the endzone and to be able to move the ball by way of the ground game.

85_Rebel Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Nice win by Boyle....everyone got reps tonite which is always cool. Lincoln just doesn't have it. Boyle got the running clock before half and scored on first offensive play of the second half. It was a Fr/JV game after that. For the week: Boyle County 135 Lincoln County 7 Boyle gets a bye week before opening district play vs Garrard in two weeks.
PurplePride92 Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Good to see Landon Bartleson score his first varsity TD tonight!!!!

Mr.Network Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 I was told that the Rebels didn't have to run a play at the end of the game but they hurried and punched in a score up 50-7. Several said Coach Smith would never run up the score on his former player, Travis Leffew. Did he?

There is NOTHING to this...you had young ones in the whole 4th qtr. it was a simple play/run, nobody was there and the score happened. Oh well.

WhoYaWith Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Victory formation wasn't appropriste? I guess not. My point was there is no animosity between Leffew and Smith. It is what it is.
WestDanville Posted September 24, 2016 Author Posted September 24, 2016 I was a tad bit surprised that Boyle didn't go to victory O after that last 1st down with a minute and change to go. Maybe Smith wanted to see if his young guys had the will to finish a drive. We will never know. Granted every play in the 4th quarter was a run play. If the other team can't stop your JV/freshman team from running the same play to the right and then to the left then what are you supposed to do? Take a knee 3 times and punt? It was probably the only time the rest of the year Smith will get to see his young guys play for that long in a varsity game and he got a decent look at the future of the program.
