Boyle is on a big upswing and remain healthy...I look for a strong performance heading into their bye week.

Other than Tanner McCannich and Tra Carey, what does Lincoln have?

I've seen Lincoln County play twice and honestly they are the only real threats on the team.

Once was when they started Josh Salyers at QB who has the best arm on the team but makes terrible decisions. The other was with McCannich at QB who can't throw so well but is a threat to take it for 60 yards anytime. Tra Carey is not an elusive as McCannich but he is more powerful. #9 on the defense seemed like a solid player.

We've had three home games and two of them took two days to complete. I'm too old for that. Lol

;)

I gotcha. lol

This will be the 27th meeting between Boyle and Lincoln. Boyle leads the series 16-10, having won the previous 3 years....42-14, 41-7, 41-0. The teams played in the same district from 2001-2004 and Boyle won 69-0, 62-0, 56-7, and 63-8. Before that, Lincoln dominated the series winning 27-0, 53-6, 20-0, 28-0, and 39-0. As was noted in another thread Boyle actually dropped Lincoln County from their schedule after that 5 year stretch. Many of us can remember some of the great games that these 2 teams had over the years. Lincoln played a good game last week against North Laurel and got their first win, but the schedule they have played as compared to the Boyle schedule isn't the same. Boyle County seems to be getting better each week too. Here's hoping for a competitive game.

Not only are the starters for Boyle better, their depth is also. I saw their JV's beat Lincoln 48-0 Monday and it could have been worse. Playing at Boyle will also make it much more difficult for the Patriots. Rebels will continue to get better.

the combined score for Fr/JV was 76-0

the combined score for Fr/JV was 76-0

Ouch!

If you combine middle school and youth league the score is:

158 - 19

Boyle won all games (5).

the combined score for Fr/JV was 76-0

Chuck would never run the score up on a team that is coached by one of his former player. But do you think that the combined scores of the Fr/JV could be the score of the Varsity game? I just asking and don't think that it will be or do I believe that it will, but just asking. I think Boyle will win and will win big but not that big.

Boyle 42

Lincoln 7

They scored 32 against the JC Jv team and they havnt played Perryville Varsity yet so the overall score could change depending on the results of them and Perryville and the hs varsity friday either way they have scored more than 19

I was only counting Woodlawn, don't know the other scores. Perryville has a couple of really good teams.

I went back to erase my post but it was too late.

I got ya the overall youth score as of today would be 97-51 they have played pville jv but no the varsity. Not sure about the Perryville varsity guess we will find out when they play.

On another note BC rolls 45-0 I dont think Chuck Smith will let his feeling for Travis jeopardize the building blocks they are working by slowing them down. Expect the starters until the game is well in hand.

It has certainly been a feast and famine series. The most competitive era was the beginning. 1974 to around 1984. There were some quality games in some of those years.

Too much BC.

Not enough LC

Boyle County 42

Lincoln County 12
