What happened to freedom of speech. The NFL guys get away with it, why shouldn't she. It's what our military fought for.

Did you not take civics class?

Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences....

So if the NFL fines the players then the NFLPA won't sue and win?

Well I think those who get on there and support the NFL should be kicked out too, it goes against some people's ideas.

When a fellow friend yells "hey, what about Freedom of Speech" educate them that it means the government cannot punish them for speech. No one else. Just the govt. Ergo, their argument is over unless we get a news report that the govt arrested this girl.

That would depend on whether it breached the CBA that the league and the NFLPA signed. If the fine didn't violate that, it'd stand, if it was a violation, the NFLPA would and should sue.

How does it work for a state university which is funded in part by the government? How would this ruling work if it was a public HS and they expelled her? Girl was stupid...expulsion? I am not sure about.

Good point. I assume K. ST is a public university?

Kicked her out of college? Sorry, but that's ridiculous.

Stupid on the girl's part? Absolutely.

Expellable offense? Come on.

Agree as well.

Was it probably a joke, sure. However, in today's climate of black and white issues, not the right thing to do.

BTW, leave to a dumb blonde to do something like this. :lol2:

Not a speech issue. My guess it's a "hostile environment" issue.

I show them stuff like this all the time to remind them NOT to be this dumb. :lol2:

Ole Miss student is probably not long for Oxford after a "lynch them" post on FB.

Yet Isaiah Crowell still has a roster spot, albeit with the Browns.

I don't understand the Browns decision on this one.
