Indeed I am.

Don't see that as being cheap at all. I see that as being a smart customer, and being rewarded for being a loyal customer.

This. Also, I definitely wouldn't call it "scamming". It's using your leverage.

Is there really a difference in being smart and cheap? I consider them one in the same.

Sure. You can be cheap in the way you tip.

Does that mean you're tipping unintelligently?

If you go back to that restaurant and get the same waitress absolutely. :lol2:

I made that amendment, and I don't disagree with the practice, though my initial word choice may suggest otherwise. But getting a paid service for free is in fact cheap. It is also smart and totally within your rights for as long as DirecTV is willing to negotiate with you terro-- customers.

Bench was really wanting people to know his thoughts on reusing plastic bottles. What about reuse of water bottles in team sports?

What's a little staph infection amongst teammates?

I don't have DirecTV, but Sunday Ticket scamming seems popular.

Thanks for bringing this up.

Just called DirecTV and got $50 off a month for the next year and free Sunday Ticket this year. :thumb:

I recently went back through Clyde's thread about what I was doing to make America great and realized I wasn't doing enough by just being a handsome dude, so, you're welcome.

I think I need to get on the phone

Can you ship some packages for me for free? Not a lot, no one will notice. It's a big company, they won't notice the lost profits.

As long as they're Printer Parts. ;)

So you wouldn't negotiate for lower deal on a new car? You would just pay the sticker price.
