September 3, 201610 yr It's always over hyped...that's not going to change until some other conference starts collecting titles like the SEC has over the past decade. No Excuse for LSU loss today. Tennessee, jeez I have no idea what happened there...but Appy St isn't a slouch, UT should have still taken care of business. Missouri stinks and was expected to lose to WVA MSU :bag: Not a sterling opening weekend for SEC football for sure...so far and several games still to go.

September 4, 201610 yr Miss St Tenn LSU GA All disappointments!!!!!!!!!!! how is UGA a disappointment? They are only ranked 3 spots higher and it's a 1 pt game. Plus it's not over yet.

September 4, 201610 yr Either way the SEC doesn't dominate teams the way they used to and everyone else in college football is catching up to the blue bloods. Watching Houston defeat Oklahoma soundly was pretty cool.
September 4, 201610 yr I don't think the SEC is as deep as it has been, but I also don't think College Football is very strong as a whole either. I still think Tennessee is going to be pretty solid this year.
September 4, 201610 yr To be fair LSU was the only ranked team that lost. Exactly, and when's the last time Wisconsin wasn't ranked at the start of the season. I had that game set on my DVR for a reason.
