September 4, 201610 yr So where is Herman coaching next year? Oklahoma? IF the B12 expands to 14 and UH gets in, he isn't going anywhere for a while. Dude is one of the best coaches in the country and flat out gets it done recruiting the Houston and Texas area. Give him a major conference to Coach in and UH could be a top 10 program every year. But a check from Texas would be nice.

He could go to Texas, keep loading up on Houston area talent plus the rest of the state and make untold amounts of money. Houston gonna match $6 mil per year?

UH will pay the man I was thinking this too, Herman does have the benefit of having one of the best cities for high school football to recruit from nationally. This is a difference maker for sure.

Houston gonna match $6 mil per year? When you have a booster donate 20 mil to renovate the hoops arena, matching an offer to keep a guy like Herman isn't out of the question. And I'm honestly not sold UH doesn't get in even if the B12 goes to 12 teams. I personally think them and UC make the most sense but the rest of the big 12 most likely isn't going to go for adding another TX school. We will see over the next 2 months I guess.

Houston gonna match $6 mil per year? possibly.. a 5 mil bonus kicks in for him just for joining a power 5 conference..
September 4, 201610 yr So where is Herman coaching next year? I'd wait an see if he can win without Greg Ward Jr. He hasn't done that, yet.

September 4, 201610 yr My guess would be that he would, but that's definitely something to think about. Only had one loss last year. The only game Greg Ward Jr. missed. And it was to UConn ... UConn.
September 4, 201610 yr I hate myself for not betting this game. The point spread screamed "opportunity!"
September 4, 201610 yr I know many don't want Houston in the B12 but they are on the rise and would be great for that conference.
September 4, 201610 yr #10 Ed Oliver from Houston is a phenomenal athlete. 6'2 Fr. DT playing out in pass coverage is unreal to see.
