I was impressed that an outsized group of HHS linemen on both sides of the ball held their own against a huge SC lin that was able to rotate in fresh big bodies at will. I came into this game dreading what was to come. I left very, very impressed by my Birds!

Scott County has a very nice stable of running backs.#25 gained over 200 yards. He sure could use an attitude adjustment . His behavior was a drawback to his performance. Overall the Birds gave a pretty good effort against a bigger faster team.

The kid was tossed after making contact with the ref. I didn't see it though.

The SC coach was able to get him to focus his energy on the field. When he got back in the game on offence he was very hard to bring down and scored at least one touch down after the outburst. He played harder and under control the rest of the game. This was the point were SC pulled away from HHS on the score board.

One other thing I will add, the blatant holding that was going on during the late drives by SC was astonishing. Right in front of the back judge as well. I mean if I'm 30 yards away standing at the fence in the end zone and can see them why can't a guy 5 yards away? We focused on the line for 5 plays and 3 of them were blatant holds with no whistles I get it,you could probably call it every down but some were just ridiculous.

Not sure if last week was bad officiating. More like lack of personal control causing a couple of penalties that negated nice offensive gains.

You could make a good argument that last weeks officials or one official in perticular, was flag happy. You either have to let them play or call it close but call it that way for both teams.
