I'm commissioner and this is the second year we've gotten the same group of people together for our league. So naturally this means we are gonna have some fun with this league now that it's gonna be together for a while. This year to determine draft picking order I ran a 20 man Royal Rumble on N64 No Mercy. Each person got 2 wrestlers and the order in which they were thrown out of the ring is how we determined who was drafting where. We bought a championship belt for first place, while last 10th and 9th place have punishments. Last place has to go take the SAT after a hard night of drinking on Friday, all while wearing a suit, top hat and carrying a brief case around. 9th place has to make a music video of the song she thinks my tractor's sexy.

The two losers in our league have to do this.

 

 

Then we have to find a new person for next season. It's great fun and it keeps a lot of fresh talent coming in.

We call ours The Bourbon Cup. Loser has to to buy the winner a bottle of bourbon. We have a traveling trophy, names are put on it.

We send pictures of an injured Tony Romo (redundant, I know) to our Cowboys super fan commish on a daily basis.

We don't do anything unique or original. But, it is the one time of year about 15 of us still get together. Fantasy football might be silly to some, but as everyone has grown up and gotten older, made families of their own this is one night we all put aside. We tell stories of the 'good old days' and have a good time. It's a bit like Hank Williams Jr. said, 'all my rowdy friends have setlled down,' but this one night we have a lot of fun and helps to keep us in touch.

We draft for the playoffs. You get to pick the same number of starters with no subs. Strategy could be to pick stud player that only plays one game or draft a 2 RB that could make it to super bowl.

We usually have to Skype in one or two but we are in our 6th year, all fraternity brothers. One of my favorite nights of the year.

In another league, we get together for draft night and trash the commissioner's house. Only took an hour to clean up...

We do a bad beat pot that's progressive. We throw 10 bucks in it every week. It pays out when someone has the 2nd highest score of the week but loses. No ties. It's been hit for 240, 180, and over 100 many times. This is our 12th season.
