The Bengals re-signed Tate to a 1-year contract in March. Two other WRs, Mohamed Sanu and Marvin Jones, were not re-signed with the Bengals.

"Brandon has made big plays to help us win games, and the consistency of his work ethic and his overall play is a big plus," coach Marvin Lewis said in a news release in March. "We're excited to have him back in the mix on both offense and special teams."

Tate, 28, played at UNC - Chapel Hill before being drafted by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 2009 NFL draft.
