August 30, 201610 yr Funny, I heard differently. Also there was an incident off campus late last week that needs to be dealt with by the school as well in my opinion. No bullying whatsoever, incident off campus last week was a different kid not associated with this kid. Geez
August 30, 201610 yr If it is another incident involving bullying at Highlands of course they are not going to tell the public anything. And if it is bullying it probably has them shaking in their boots a little because of the way they minimized the bullying last time to call it something other than bullying. You're trying really hard to make some content here, as is the case with almost all of your posts in this thread. Trying to boost the site hits by fabricating some sort of deeper scandal being covered up? Seriously, you have stated that you don't think the school will be truthful. So no matter what they say, unless it fits your preconceived narrative, you will say is untrue and the "insiders" at Highlands are covering up some sort of scandal. Anything short of this juicy narrative that you have fabricated in your head will just be "highlands sweeping it under the rug." What has Highlands done in the past, that makes you think they wouldn't be transparent? Or is that just you go-to line whenever you think a "scandal" has taken place. If you have any information that Highlands is hiding anything in this situation, or that they are attempting to "sweep something under the rug" please do share.
August 30, 201610 yr No bullying whatsoever, incident off campus last week was a different kid not associated with this kid. Geez Out of curiosity, is a school responsible for something that happens off school grounds and after school hours?
August 30, 201610 yr No bullying whatsoever, incident off campus last week was a different kid not associated with this kid. Geez At any point in time did I say it was the same kid? No I did not. There was a separate incident that IMO needs to be addressed by the school.
August 30, 201610 yr Out of curiosity, is a school responsible for something that happens off school grounds and after school hours? Not directly, but should a kid walking home from school be fearful that something may occur. Should a school get involved if both parties are students at said school.
August 30, 201610 yr Wow if the young man really has anger issues as has been stated here, and he has a loaded 380 as has been stated here, this definitely could have been much much worse! Glad it did not turn out badly for anyone other than the kid and his family.
August 30, 201610 yr Not directly, but should a kid walking home from school be fearful that something may occur. Should a school get involved if both parties are students at said school. I would say that a school should get involved as far as notifying the police if it is as bad of a situation as it sounds.
August 30, 201610 yr Not directly, but should a kid walking home from school be fearful that something may occur. Sounds like a community problem, not a school problem.
August 30, 201610 yr Not directly, but should a kid walking home from school be fearful that something may occur. Should a school get involved if both parties are students at said school. Maybe the fearful kid should learn how to defend himself.
August 30, 201610 yr Sounds like a community problem, not a school problem. No way! Nothing goes wrong in Mayberry that Barney can't handle.
August 30, 201610 yr My theory(s) is he was one: just showing off and a person outside his circle saw it and correctly told the right people Two: was having trouble with someone and wanted to just say "keep it up buddy", an emopty scare tactic Kids do stupid stuff and this is most certainly high on the stupidity scale, but if he was going to use It I believe he would've. Of course I'm unsure on what time of the day he was found out.
August 30, 201610 yr No way! Nothing goes wrong in Mayberry that Barney can't handle. He was probably a South Sider. Barney Stays away from the South Side.
August 30, 201610 yr Wow I'll agree, probably a bit of a stretch. I meant that with a little tongue-in-cheek to it. Guess I should have found an emoji for that.
August 30, 201610 yr Not directly, but should a kid walking home from school be fearful that something may occur. Should a school get involved if both parties are students at said school. They should but I wonder how much authority they would have in that instance? Still, a meeting with both students and parents might be helpful.
