The article I read said four of the five starting offensive linemen returned. Is that accurate? If that many starters are coming back from a good offensive team it seems strange they would be struggling.

I'm not sure that NewCath will be able to consistently maintain drives right now. If NewCath gets 5 plays over 20 yards, Scott will be in trouble. They aren't exactly constructed to come back from a deficit.

Yes 4 of 5, I'm not going to put too much stock in a scrimmage but they had a rough night up front.

I was reading the preview on Scott in the Community Recorder. They have a lot back on offense. Good skill players return and 4 of 5 linemen. Hard to believe they couldn't score versus Lloyd in the scrimmage. But, it was just a scrimmage so who knows. This game is big for both teams to establish themselves and get the season off on the right foot.

 

Scott must have returned a good chunk of their team from last season. Even if it was a scrimmage, it's more surprising that Lloyd beat them the way they did. I agree that this is an important game for both teams too based on measurement from where they both left off last year.
