Colonels_Wear_Blue Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 ...$16 Million dollars. It's located in Prospect. Main house was built in 1906. Six bedrooms, five and a half baths. Part of the 157.89 acre estate was designed by the Olmsted Brothers, who were responsible for designing the US Capital Grounds, NYC's Central Park, the Louisville Park System, and several Ivy League campuses. Estate also includes a greenhouse, a stable, and a separate guest house. Swanky! Getslow Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 I know that place. Never seen the house before but it's a huge plot of land out by Captain's Quarters. I wonder if the estate owns land across River Road that gives it river frontage as well.
Jumper_Dad Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 It's nice, I wouldn't pay $16M for it though.

LRCW Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 @spindoc and I are going to buy it, do a few remodels, and flip it for $22 million.
Getslow Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 The house is only part of it. That's a 157-acre estate in the middle of Prospect. Whew.

tcjkbt Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Roughly, $160,000 annually in real estate taxes, or $13,300 per month. Add that on to your mortgage note principal and interest.
