Sure! Was a little different when my kids went through but good for girls in our state. There are other big time players not with them but those that are seem to get extra credit!!

 

Doesn't seem to be helping Ally Niece. She's been on the top Kentucky Premier team for a couple years I think and she's still only got two offers I believe. Xavier and NKU. Not sure your theory is correct.

How does Niece do against that level of competition? I haven't seen her play select ball in a couple years and only get a little hearsay every once in awhile.

Good for her! I find it hard to believe those were gonna be her only two offers.

Bolus does a pretty good job with his camp and does the best he can with his rankings but misses some for sure if they aren't brought to his attention in some form. Anna Lee at West Jessamine is one of the best pure points in the state and nobody matches her speed and handle but she's not been to any camps and concentrated on soccer instead where she's committed to UK.

There are some pretty good sophomores in northern Ky but I do understand he can't see or know all of them.

I get it too. But I guess the list is really only for the parents and kids that attend...other than the high profile kids you hear about and really can't leave off a list like this.

Schwartz-Ryle Anderson-Cooper Jordan-Conner Brock-Dixie are four players that come to mind for me that didn't make his list in their respective classes. Opinions vary I guess. Congrats to the girls that did make the list.

Don't these rankings matter in the long run for the younger grades, but its nice to get recognition for the hard work no matter the age group. I do think to many of these rankings at a young age are about potential. Know a player entering 8th grade, that started girls varsity as a 7th grader last year, then add these accomplishments (2 Division 1 final four finishes in National AAU, voted to the middle school all tourney teams in 7th and 8th grade at state last year at the KBA, commented on at Bolus camp this year as a deadly shooting lead guard, Co-MVP at Battle of the Bridges 2016 for Kentucky ' s rising 8th graders) and a great on ball defender, but she's 5'1, so she won't wow you in warmups, but she wins.

I know a player very much like that at Assumption and 5'3" on best day, but yeah, she won't be a Division 1 player based on that height alone. She will just keep playing and have a chip on her shoulder towards the so-called Division 1 players.
